The rather gloomy interior

Although there was a Thomas Watson-Wentworth, 6th Baron of Wentworth in 1746, it is not generally thought that he is the owner of the word 'Tom' that can be seen scratched above the doorway.

From the bear pit you can gain access to an old Japanese garden.
