The rear
It may sound un-charitable but if you were to see this view first, you would probably pass on by without looking at the other side. Things are not helped though, by the fact that in the past the windows have been filled in, creating a drab and neglected feel to the folly.
These filled in 'windows' are in fact the slits that are to be seen in the front view on Page 1 . 
A plaque is set into the structure to commemorate the work of Richard Ottloy and Arthur Withy, who in 1921 helped to ensure the folly's continued existence.
Visiting:-
The folly is located by the side of a golf course at the top of a private road. Either park in the golf club park in you feel bold, or park in the public road at the bottom and walk up the hill to the golf club.
